Flights from Guayaquil are around $ 50 less than from Quito, but the cost is the same whether you fly to San Cristobal or Baltra (Santa Cruz).
Flights to Galapagos are generally scheduled in the morning; return flights around noon.
If you are going to take a cruise tour, always try to take the first flights so you will not miss any activity.

All families with children are very welcome on board Odyssey. We suggest that your children are at least 3-4 years old so that they can enjoy the experience and the cruise. We don’t offer special children’s programs, but they will love being nearby animals, and activities such as: swimming, snorkeling and sea-kayaking.
Please kip in mind that parents/legal guardians will be responsible for their children. They must take into account that children may not undertake longer or more difficult excursions/activities.

Odyssey offer special discounts for children younger than 12 years (-20% off for 1 child per 2 parents), as well as reduced entrances fees to the Galapagos National Park.

We recommend to have a reasonably good physical condition so that you can perform all activities. Our programs are well-filled, but if you want you can skip an activity and take a rest on board.
During the activities there are some trails are long and/or more difficult than others. Some have sharp lava rocks or light scrambling (especially in unspoiled remote areas as well as in Española, Genovesa and Tintoreras).
There may also be trouble while embarking and disembarking the inflatable dinghy especially when the tide is a bit rougher, but don’t worry our crew will always be there to help you in and out safely.

The Galapagos Islands has perfect holiday weather during all the year and each season gives us its own charm. The climate is quiet and warm, only can characterized as tropical in the first half of the year with a very intense equatorial sun, blue skies, alternated with some rain or an occasional shower. From about June to the end of the year, it is the cooler, dryer and overcast ‘garúa season’ but these months still you can enjoy pleasant weather with less intense sunshine.

On board our chef professional will pamper you with exquisite dishes served in buffet style, prepared with a combination of international and Ecuadorian dishes. Last night of each route (A, B or C) will be concluded with a cozy barbecue event.

In case you require vegetarian or dietary food or special meals at no extra cost. Please let us know in advance and our kitchen staff will do everything possible to please your palate.
